Tamara García

Director of FICA for 5 years. She is one of the founders of the audio-visual collective MAPA, of ARTELEKU (Donostia, Guipuzcoa) She has worked as an independent curator in different exhibitions: THIS IS JUST TO SAY (CC Recoleta, Buenos Aires, 2016).

She worked on the project PUENTE, She developed the VERSUS curatorial project, working as a curator at the feminist exhibition MITOMINAS, 30 YEARS AFTER, in the CC. Recoleta (Buenos Aires Argentina) that brought together 19 female artists, in WOMEN WITHOUT LAW, program ELLAS, Contemporary Art Museum of Buenos Aires (MACBA).

Has made the films: Los Faquires, Las Voces, Buenos Aires-Eden and UTAH . Currently the film “The body of the woman without shadow” and “TXALAKA” has finished

Mick Hannigan

Since founding Triskel Film Club in Cork in 1986 Mick Hannigan has worked in film exhibition. He was appointed Director of the Cork Film Festival in 1987 a position he held for many years. He served as Cinemas Officer of the Irish Film Centre and later founded the Kino Arthouse Cinema which he ran for 13 years. He has a special interest in the short film and has served on many festival juries, most recently on the International Jury of the Tehran Short Film Festival in November.

In 2005, as part of the Cork European Capital of Culture programme he organized an international Short Film Symposium that considered the short film as a distinct art form.

He has served on the boards of The Federation of Irish Film Societies, The Irish Film Institute and the Irish Film Board. He is currently on the board of the International Short Film Conference and is Chair of the Munster Literature Centre.

He is Co-Director of the IndieCork Film Festival which, with others, he founded in 2013. IndieCork is now the largest festival for short films in Ireland.
