The festival will take place from December 4 to 13 and will maintain its sections in competition, the usual complementary activities and the Golden Eagle awards.
The announcement was made in the presentation of the poster of its thirty-second edition that has been designed by Tania Porras.
The Aguilar Film Festival will celebrate its thirty-second edition from 4 to 13 December in entirely online format, due to the situation caused by Covid-19. This decision has been announced during the presentation of the poster of the next edition held this morning at the art gallery Dobleó Creativa de Aguilar.
Despite the change, the Aguilar Film Festival will keep a large part of its regular programming. Once again it will have with the sections in competition, the complementary activities and the delivery Golden Eagle awards to outstanding figures of the national cinema.
The screenings in the Amor cinema and in the cultural spaces of the town will be replaced by online broadcasts through the festival website and through the support of the Filmin and Festhome platforms.
In Filmin it will be created a specific channel for the Aguilar Film Festival that will have a special broadcast among the 400,000 users of the platform. In the next weeks, when the entire programming is made public, the options to access to the different sections will be announced
Presentation of the poster
As in the two previous editions, the designer of the poster is Tania Porras. She has been a regular contributor of the festival from a very young age. Tania studied a higher degree in Plastic Arts and Comic Design in Barcelona in 2013 and later continued his studies in Valencia where she completed a higher degree in 3D Animationy. At the end of 2018 he started working as a 3D animator at Hampa Studios. Also she has attended different events such as 3D Wire (WEIRD), the Quirino Awards or the Aguilar Film Festival.
The Aguilar Film Festival is organized by the Aguilar City Council of Campoo and has the sponsorship of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Spain – through the ICAA (Institute of Cinematography and Audiovisual Arts) -, the support of Acción Cultural Española (AC / E) through its Program for the Internationalization of the Culture (PICE), the Junta de Castilla y León and the Diputación de Palencia. Between Its main private sponsors are Galletas Gullón, Aquona and Grupo Vicauto.
