Synopsis
Carla is pregnant and naked, just like in the photos where her mother poses pregnant with Carla herself. Sunlight streams through the windows. We see Super 8 bursts of grandparents, uncles, parents, great-grandparents; smiling, sewing, reciting poetry. So, we see a young woman growing up from the 60s to the present day, passing through the 80s, crossing the thresholds of femininity and history, until she meets a pregnant Carla next to the blue sky of the Catalan coast.

Carla Simón
He studied a Master's degree in Film Directing at the London Film School. In 2017, she premiered her first feature film, Estiu 1993 (Summer 1993, Made in Spain), at the Berlin Festival, where she received the award for best debut film and the Generation Kplus Grand Prize. The film garnered more than 30 awards around the world, was chosen to represent Spain at the Oscars and won three Goya awards, including best new director. In 2020 he presented Correspondence, a short film co-directed with Dominga Sotomayor, at Zabaltegi-Tabakalera, a section for which he was a jury in 2017. His second feature film, Alcarràs (Made in Spain) won the Golden Bear for best film at the last Berlin Film Festival .
